During our benefit for the GO! Atheneum Caroline Pauwels, we welcome Serge Algoet, Director of GO! Kunsthumaniora Brussels. With his clear and inspiring commentary, he gives extra meaning to the musical part of the day and strengthens the bridge between art, education, and equal opportunities.
During our benefit afternoon for the students of the GO! Atheneum Caroline Pauwels, we welcome an inspiring voice from Brussels arts education: Serge Algoet , Director of GO! Kunsthumaniora Brussels .
Since 2018, Serge Algoet has led this leading arts secondary school within the GO! School Group Brussels. Under his direction, the school continued to develop, where artistic disciplines reinforce one another and where young people are purposefully prepared for further studies in higher arts education. The Brussels Arts Secondary School is known for its strong substantive vision and its close ties to the professional arts field.
During our benefit afternoon, Serge Algoet will provide commentary on the musical pieces to be performed later in the day by the Etterbeek Academic Wind Orchestra . He places the selected works in their historical and artistic context, bridging the gap between musical form, emotion, and societal significance. In this way, the concert gains not only aesthetic but also substantive depth.
Anyone who has heard him speak knows that Serge Algoet is a smooth, clear, and approachable speaker . With enthusiasm and expertise, he knows how to take his audience along on the journey behind the music. His contribution ensures that listening becomes more than just hearing — it becomes understanding, experiencing, and connecting.
Our benefit afternoon is dedicated to equal educational opportunities . We bring together educational reality, social engagement, and culture in a single initiative. Serge Algoet's commentary forms an important link between reflection and artistic experience.
