Sundays of Philosophy

The House of Humanity Brussels, in collaboration with the VUB Alumni Association and the Humanist Association, is organizing a philosophical seminar with brunch on six Sundays.

The starting point is the shared reading of a text selected by the speaker, without revealing the author's name. The speaker then explains this choice and introduces the author based on their broad philosophical background. Afterward, the participants engage in a discussion. The context provided allows for connections to other authors or to current issues.

These Sundays of Philosophy respond to the demand for philosophical gatherings on a certain regular basis.

We ask for a symbolic contribution of €5 per person. This amount can be deposited into the account number BE55 9734 2242 6344 of the non-profit organization "Don't Forget the Children" (note: philosophy).
