About the event
This walk takes you from the Kruidtuin to the Nieuwe Graanmarkt in the historic centre of Brussels.
During this walk, we'll search for images, in the broadest sense of the word, that are "enlightened" by their humanistic character. We'll reflect on the historical and current significance of certain places and statues. It's a walk of listening, but also of thinking and doing; about human strength, free thinkers, the oppression of, and the fight for, freedom.
Practical:
We meet at 1:30 pm at the roundabout (large fountain) of the Botanical Garden of Brussels at 1:30 pm, the walk starts at 2 pm (duration = 3 hours).
