Blasphemy is a theme that varies greatly in meaning and impact worldwide. In some countries it is punishable, while elsewhere it is seen as freedom of expression. With the exhibition 'Nom de Dieu' curators Willem Elias and Kathleen Van Nuffel give a unique interpretation to this loaded concept. The expo is an exercise in free thinking and a critical reflection on the role of religion, art and satire in Western culture. It can be seen from 28 November at Pilar (Vrij Universiteit Brussel) on the initiative of huisvandeMens Brussels
